This artwork by Robert De Niro, Sr. achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in June 2015. In the Interiors auction, the work Still life with head, vase and flowers sold for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,603.37) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert De Niro, Sr. have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in June 2014 with an auction result of USD 31,250.00 (€ 22,826.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert De Niro, Sr. erzielte im Juni 2015 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Interiors wurde die Arbeit Still life with head, vase and flowers für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.603,37) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert De Niro, Sr. auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 22.826,88).
