This artwork by Robert De Niro, Sr. achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in June 2015. In the Interiors auction, the work Self-Portrait sold for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,844.72) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert De Niro, Sr. - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2014 for USD 31,250.00 (€ 22,826.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert De Niro, Sr. erzielte im Juni 2015 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Interiors wurde die Arbeit Self-Portrait für USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.844,72) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert De Niro, Sr. mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für USD 31.250,00 (€ 22.826,88) versteigert wurde.
