In June 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Interiors, which included the work Blue Dress, Blue Hair by Robert De Niro, Sr.. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,922.36), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Robert De Niro, Sr. have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in June 2014 with an auction result of USD 31,250.00 (€ 22,826.88).

Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Blue Dress, Blue Hair von Robert De Niro, Sr. zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.922,36) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert De Niro, Sr. auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 22.826,88).
