Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2018 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art II, which included the work Sans Titre - 2005 by Robert Courtright. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,800.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Courtright - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (White), which sold at auction in April 2014 for EUR 17,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre - 2005 von Robert Courtright zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.800,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Courtright mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (White) beobachtet, die im April 2014 für EUR 17.500,00 versteigert wurde.
