Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Sans Titre - 1980 by Robert Courtright for EUR 2,600.00. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art at Artcurial and was even below the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Robert Courtright have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (White) in April 2014 with an auction result of EUR 17,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1980 von Robert Courtright für EUR 2.600,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Courtright auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (White) im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.500,00.
