In November 2021 Bonhams in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work That Little Place Around The Corner by Robert Colescott. The »bidding war« ended at USD 94,062.50 (€ 83,337.02), 34% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Colescott achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work George Washington Carver Crossing The Delaware: Page From An American History Textbook in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 15,315,900.00 (€ 12,560,193.54).

Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit That Little Place Around The Corner von Robert Colescott zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 94.062,50 (€ 83.337,02) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Colescott erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit George Washington Carver Crossing The Delaware: Page From An American History Textbook im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.315.900,00 (€ 12.560.193,54).
