In November 2010 Christies in London held the auction The Collection of the Late John Appleby: A Channel Island Treasure House, which included the work Figures before St. Dunstan's-in-the-West, Fleet Street, London by Robert Blemmell Schnebbelie. The price achieved of GBP 1,187.50 (€ 1,419.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Figures before St. Dunstan's-in-the-West, Fleet Street, London is the most expensive artwork by Robert Blemmell Schnebbelie that we have observed at auctions so far.
