Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work The Guildhall Chapel At The Time of Its Demolition by Robert Blemmell Schnebbelie for GBP 480.00 (€ 702.66). This price was achieved in the auction British and Continental Watercolours at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Blemmell Schnebbelie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figures before St. Dunstan's-in-the-West, Fleet Street, London, which sold at auction in November 2010 for GBP 1,187.50 (€ 1,419.06).
