Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seated Nude by Robert Brackman was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,125.00 (€ 798.95) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Robert Brackman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Lighthouse Keeper in June 2016 with an auction result of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,798.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seated Nude von Robert Brackman kam im September 2008 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.125,00 (€ 798,95) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Brackman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Lighthouse Keeper im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.798,40).
