Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Robert Brackman could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Art Online auction, the work Study for Autumn #2 and Fruit: Two Works changed hands for USD 640.00 (€ 590.46) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Brackman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Lighthouse Keeper in June 2016 with an auction result of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,798.40).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Brackman konnte im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion American Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Study for Autumn #2 and Fruit: Two Works für USD 640,00 (€ 590,46) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Brackman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Lighthouse Keeper im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.798,40).
