In the Old Master and 19th Century Drawings including Andrea del auction, the work Studies After Michelangelo And Other Artists, With Sketches of Capitals, Friezes And Vases sold for GBP 4,800.00 (€ 6,962.35) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jean-Robert Ango; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Margaret Of Cortona Finding The Body Of Her Lover, After Marco Benefial sold at auction in March 2018 with the realized price of EUR 13,750.00.
