Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2019 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Phillips x Artsy Summer School, which included the work Untitled (The Days of This Society is Numbered) by Rirkrit Tiravanija. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,813.00 (€ 2,527.40) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rirkrit Tiravanija achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (THE DAYS OF THIS SOCIETY IS NUMBERED) in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 98,280.00 (€ 83,692.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2019 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Phillips x Artsy Summer School durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (The Days of This Society is Numbered) von Rirkrit Tiravanija zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.813,00 (€ 2.527,40) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rirkrit Tiravanija erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (THE DAYS OF THIS SOCIETY IS NUMBERED) im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 98.280,00 (€ 83.692,41).
