Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bus, Green Car And Silver Car by Richard Woods was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2019. The price achieved of GBP 250.00 (€ 295.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Woods achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Personal History in November 2009 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 40,016.01).
