In November 2018 Christies in New York held the auction American Art Online, which included the work Cub Scouts in Phone Booth by Richard Sargent. The »bidding war« ended at USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,286.85), 53% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Richard Sargent; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Shade Tree sold at auction in May 2015 with the realized price of USD 43,750.00 (€ 39,794.43).

Im November 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cub Scouts in Phone Booth von Richard Sargent zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.286,85) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Richard Sargent; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Shade Tree im Mai 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 39.794,43).
