Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2006 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs, which included the work Woodcock And Chicks In The Undergrowth by Richard Robjent. The price achieved of GBP 2,280.00 (€ 3,299.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Robjent - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Driven grouse, Invercauld, which sold at auction in November 2013 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,025.25).

Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Woodcock And Chicks In The Undergrowth von Richard Robjent zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.280,00 (€ 3.299,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Richard Robjent mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Driven grouse, Invercauld beobachtet, die im November 2013 für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.025,25) versteigert wurde.
