Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pheasants breaking cover, Winter by Richard Robjent was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 4,134.14) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Robjent - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Driven grouse, Invercauld, which sold at auction in November 2013 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,025.25).

Die Arbeit Pheasants breaking cover, Winter von Richard Robjent kam im Mai 2008 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 4.134,14) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Richard Robjent mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Driven grouse, Invercauld beobachtet, die im November 2013 für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.025,25) versteigert wurde.
