Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A sketchbook: Scottish birds, including grouse, kingfisher and woodcock by Richard Robjent was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2007. The price achieved of GBP 3,125.00 (€ 4,375.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Robjent - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Driven grouse, Invercauld, which sold at auction in November 2013 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,025.25).
