Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Snipe, Late Afternoon by Richard Robjent was sold in the Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs auction at Christies in London in June 2006. The price achieved of GBP 2,640.00 (€ 3,820.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Robjent - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Driven grouse, Invercauld, which sold at auction in November 2013 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,025.25).
