In the Prints and Editions | ONLINE ONLY auction, the work 4 x 4 Bewegungen um eine Achse sold for EUR 2,838.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Paul Lohse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Neun Vertikale Systematische Farbreihen Mit Horizontaler Und Vertikaler Verdichtung, 1955/69 in May 2014 with an auction result of CHF 317,000.00 (€ 259,828.45).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Paul Lohse erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Neun Vertikale Systematische Farbreihen Mit Horizontaler Und Vertikaler Verdichtung, 1955/69 im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 317.000,00 (€ 259.828,45).
