However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard M. Firth - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vigilant and Valkyrie II racing off Rhode Island, 1893, which sold at auction in January 2008 for USD 55,000.00 (€ 37,059.50).
