Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Chichester Cathedral from the mill at Fishbourne by Richard Henry Nibbs was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2005. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 504.00 (€ 731.53). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Henry Nibbs achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch passage boat in May 2005 with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,058.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Chichester Cathedral from the mill at Fishbourne von Richard Henry Nibbs kam im Dezember 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 504,00 (€ 731,53) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Henry Nibbs erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch passage boat im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 15.058,40).
