SINCLAIR, ESQ. auction, the work A bustling fishing port sold for GBP 1,880.00 (€ 3,151.86) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Admittedly, works by Richard Henry Nibbs have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch passage boat in May 2005 with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,058.40).
