Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2003 Christies in London held the auction At Home-British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper, which included the work A reclining beauty by Richard Geiger. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 646.25 (€ 927.70). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Geiger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Concerto nel bosco in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 12,250,000.00 (€ 11,010.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion At Home-British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit A reclining beauty von Richard Geiger zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 646,25 (€ 927,70) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Geiger erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Concerto nel bosco im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 12.250.000,00 (€ 11.010,00).
