Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A perfect reflection by Richard Geiger was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2003. The price achieved of GBP 705.00 (€ 1,029.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Geiger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Concerto nel bosco in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 12,250,000.00 (€ 11,010.00).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 705,00 (€ 1.029,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Geiger erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Concerto nel bosco im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 12.250.000,00 (€ 11.010,00).
