Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of A Connoisseur, Full-Length, Seated At A Draped Table With Books, Prints And Writing Implements In A Library Interior by Richard Brakenburgh was sold in the Old Master Pictures auction at Christies in London in November 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,173.31) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Brakenburgh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Eve of Saint Nicholas in November 2011 with an auction result of EUR 58,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of A Connoisseur, Full-Length, Seated At A Draped Table With Books, Prints And Writing Implements In A Library Interior von Richard Brakenburgh wurde im November 2005 in der Auktion Old Master Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert.
