Admittedly, works by Richard Ansdell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Wounded Hound in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 478,400.00 (€ 710,438.97).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 77.750,00 (€ 90.463,20) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Richard Ansdell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Wounded Hound im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 478.400,00 (€ 710.438,97).
