Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Brittany Pets by Richard Ansdell was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 3,584.00 (€ 4,181.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Ansdell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Wounded Hound in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 478,400.00 (€ 710,438.97).

Die Arbeit Brittany Pets von Richard Ansdell kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.584,00 (€ 4.181,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Ansdell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Wounded Hound im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 478.400,00 (€ 710.438,97).
