Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lytham Common by Richard Ansdell was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2017. The price achieved of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,342.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Ansdell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Wounded Hound in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 478,400.00 (€ 710,438.97).

Die Arbeit Lytham Common von Richard Ansdell kam im Juli 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.342,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Ansdell erzielen.
