Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Scottish Art, which included the work Home Of The Red Deer by Richard Ansdell. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,209.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Ansdell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Wounded Hound in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 478,400.00 (€ 710,438.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Scottish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Home Of The Red Deer von Richard Ansdell zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.209,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Ansdell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Wounded Hound im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 478.400,00 (€ 710.438,97).
