Auction result well in line with expectations
The work White Painting by Richard Allen was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in March 2007. The price achieved of GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,296.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Richard Allen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Warm Pink And Yellow in March 2014 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,668.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit White Painting von Richard Allen kam im März 2007 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.560,00 (€ 2.296,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Richard Allen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Warm Pink And Yellow im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.668,20).
