This work without title by Richard Allen was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in March 2007. It achieved a price of GBP 3,840.00 (€ 5,652.04), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Allen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Warm Pink And Yellow, which sold at auction in March 2014 for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,668.20).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Richard Allen kam im März 2007 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.840,00 (€ 5.652,04) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Für andere Arbeiten von Richard Allen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Warm Pink And Yellow beobachtet, die im März 2014 für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.668,20) versteigert wurde.
