This artwork by Richard Allen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Olympia in March 2007. In the 20th Century British & Irish Art auction, the work Pop Poster Collage sold for GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,662.63) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Richard Allen; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Warm Pink And Yellow sold at auction in March 2014 with the realized price of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,668.20).

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Richard Allen; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Warm Pink And Yellow im März 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.668,20).
