Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Brown Jack by Richard Adams was sold in the British Country Life auction at Bonhams in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,785.00 (€ 2,095.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Adams - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Providing the Town, which sold at auction in November 2019 for GBP 3,812.00 (€ 4,476.22).

Die Arbeit Brown Jack von Richard Adams wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion British Country Life bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.785,00 (€ 2.095,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Richard Adams mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Providing the Town beobachtet, die im November 2019 für GBP 3.812,00 (€ 4.476,22) versteigert wurde.
