Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Towards Winter by Richard Adams was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 828.75 (€ 971.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Richard Adams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Providing the Town in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 3,812.00 (€ 4,476.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Towards Winter von Richard Adams kam im Juli 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 828,75 (€ 971,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Richard Adams auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Providing the Town im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.812,00 (€ 4.476,22).
