Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pine And Poultry by Ren Yi was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October last year. The price achieved of HKD 45,600.00 (€ 5,843.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ren Yi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Birds and Flowers in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 17,250,000.00 (€ 1,717,278.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pine And Poultry von Ren Yi wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 45.600,00 (€ 5.843,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ren Yi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Birds and Flowers im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 17.250.000,00 (€ 1.717.278,90).
