In May 2007 Christies in Milan held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Pastorale by Remo Brindisi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,108.00 41% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Remo Brindisi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Punta della dogana in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 9,920.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 41 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pastorale von Remo Brindisi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.108,00 und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Remo Brindisi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Punta della dogana im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.920,00.
