In December 2013 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art | Silver and Decorative Objects, which included the work Venezia by Remo Brindisi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,500.00 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Remo Brindisi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Punta della dogana in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 9,920.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2013 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art | Silver and Decorative Objects durch, in der auch die Arbeit Venezia von Remo Brindisi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.500,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Remo Brindisi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Punta della dogana im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.920,00.
