Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Coney Island by Reginald Marsh for USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,967.22). This price was achieved in the auction American Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reginald Marsh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Merry-Go-Round in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 790,000.00 (€ 747,964.40).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Coney Island von Reginald Marsh für USD 11.250,00 (€ 9.967,22) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reginald Marsh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Merry-Go-Round im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 790.000,00 (€ 747.964,40).
