Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Carnival Ride, Tunnel of Love by Reginald Marsh was sold in the Coast to Coast | Live OnlineAmerican Art, including The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer auction at Bonhams in February this year. The price achieved of USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,607.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reginald Marsh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Merry-Go-Round in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 790,000.00 (€ 747,964.40).
