Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Lake Como by Reginald T. Jones for GBP 360.00 (€ 522.18). This price was achieved in the auction The Sunday Picture Sale - British and Continental oils, at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Reginald T. Jones have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in February 2000 by the work Brompton Road, Knightsbridge at GBP 483.00 (€ 790.39).
