Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Musée Imaginaire by Reg Butler was auctioned at Christies in New York in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 81,900.00 (€ 94,043.95). Other works by Reg Butler have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 146,500.00 (€ 183,044.74) in June 2014 for the work Woman Standing.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Musée Imaginaire von Reg Butler kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 81.900,00 (€ 94.043,95) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Reg Butler haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 146.500,00 (€ 183.044,74) im Juni 2014 für die Arbeit Woman Standing beobachtet.
