In November 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Post-War British Art, which included the work Acrobat by Reg Butler. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,930.00 (€ 7,736.22), 39% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reg Butler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman Standing in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 146,500.00 (€ 183,044.74).

Im November 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Acrobat von Reg Butler zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.930,00 (€ 7.736,22) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reg Butler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman Standing im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 146.500,00 (€ 183.044,74).
