In September 2017 Christies in New York held the auction The Collection of Paul F. Walter, which included the work Newfoundland Drawing by Ree Morton. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,407.09), 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by Ree Morton have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,639.72) in September 2017 for the work Weeds of the Northeast #4.
