In September 2017 Christies in New York held the auction The Collection of Paul F. Walter, which included the work Line-Cell Drawing by Ree Morton. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,465.25), 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by Ree Morton have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,639.72) in September 2017 for the work Weeds of the Northeast #4.
