Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2004 Christies in Paris held the auction ART IMPRESSIONNISTE, MODERNE, D'APRES-GUERRE ET CONTEMPORAIN, which included the work Nu à la grappe de raisins by Raymond Voinquel. It changed hands for a price of EUR 881.25 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 700.00 – 900.00. Admittedly, works by Raymond Voinquel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Audrey Hepburn as Ariane Chavasse for the 1957 Allied Artists production Love in the Afternoon, Paris, circa 1956 in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,388.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2004 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion ART IMPRESSIONNISTE, MODERNE, D'APRES-GUERRE ET CONTEMPORAIN durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nu à la grappe de raisins von Raymond Voinquel zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 881,25 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 700,00 – 900,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raymond Voinquel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Audrey Hepburn as Ariane Chavasse for the 1957 Allied Artists production Love in the Afternoon, Paris, circa 1956 im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.388,94).
