This artwork by Raymond Mason achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in December 2019. In the Art Contemporain Day Sale auction, the work Main De L'Artiste sold for EUR 20,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raymond Mason - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View Of St Mark'S Place, East Village, New York City As Seen Through The Window Of The Village East Coffee Shop, which sold at auction in June 2010 for EUR 60,750.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Raymond Mason erzielte im Dezember 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Contemporain Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Main De L'Artiste für EUR 20.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Raymond Mason mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View Of St Mark'S Place, East Village, New York City As Seen Through The Window Of The Village East Coffee Shop beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für EUR 60.750,00 versteigert wurde.
