Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre (Palissade) - 1974 by Raymond Hains was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary - Day Sale auction at Artcurial in Paris in December 2021. The price achieved of EUR 55,900.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 45,000.00 – 65,000.00. Admittedly, works by Raymond Hains have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre, 1967 in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 334,584.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre (Palissade) - 1974 von Raymond Hains wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary - Day Sale bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 55.900,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 45.000,00 – 65.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raymond Hains auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1967 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 334.584,00.
