It achieved a price of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 13,656.81), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. Admittedly, works by Raymond Fung have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Breathing 1 in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,008,000.00 (€ 107,922.19).

Die Arbeit Beauty of Lands (4) von Raymond Fung kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 13.656,81) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raymond Fung auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Breathing 1 im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.008.000,00 (€ 107.922,19).
