Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Raúl Anguiano could be acquired at Christies in New York in November 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Art auction, the work Negrita Con Fondo Rosa changed hands for USD 9,600.00 (€ 7,239.27) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raúl Anguiano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La espina in May 2005 with an auction result of USD 156,000.00 (€ 126,326.02).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Raúl Anguiano konnte im November 2006 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Latin American Art wechselte die Arbeit Negrita Con Fondo Rosa für USD 9.600,00 (€ 7.239,27) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raúl Anguiano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La espina im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 156.000,00 (€ 126.326,02).
