Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work A summer bouquet by Raoul Martinez for EUR 1,000.00. This price was achieved in the auction Pictures Watercolours and Drawings at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Raoul Martinez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Waalseilandgracht in October 2003 with an auction result of EUR 4,780.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A summer bouquet von Raoul Martinez für EUR 1.000,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Pictures Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raoul Martinez auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Waalseilandgracht im Oktober 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.780,00.
